  I worked for this company for 2.5 years dealing with their Aviva heritage policies as a customer service representative (aka call centre worker). The last year I worked for them was one of the worst years of my life. A new manager started work there about halfway through my employment. I’m posting under a false name and will not go into too much depth as I don’t want them to know my identity but they made my life a living hell even though I was one of their best staff. I got so many customer and staff compliments (I identified a breach which affected 60,000 Policies is just one example after I gathered data over a few weeks on something I noticed) and took time after calls to get to the bottom of issues, post letters, deal with emails etc. But because I wasn’t doing all this within 1.5 minutes on average for each call and I actually took time to help customers they found a reason to start putting enourmous pressure on me and bullied me. I’d tried to change my contract before this all started due to issues at home and the manager rejected this. I appealed his decision and it was rejected again but then magically they made the change I needed in an ‘informal’ agreement afterwards. After this he decided to make my life a living hell and ended my employment by making me resign. CONSTRUCTIVE DISMISSAL. They made me very ill with stress. Please do yourself a favour and never work here. I hear that now the staff only get 20 seconds between calls to do SO MUCH WORK! Horrendous place to work. Please save yourself the stress and misery and look elsewhere. Retail is better than a company who couldn’t care less about its staff and only about figures. Something is seriously wrong here and it needs to be addressed for the sake of the other people still employed there!
